Structure: Photo Challenge

Long Legged Fly- (Dolichopodids)  Note the length of its legs which bears its namesake. The eye catching main body color palette starts with its bright orangish eyes then moves to its almost glowing yellow back and finally to the tail with green and black stripes.  He was so eye catching that he was able to take my attention away from my original subject for the challenge.  I had originally been shooting a blood drop flower.  He darted by and captivated my attention.  In real life, he is more iridescent in color than the photo shows.  His wings are see through and boast a leaf type pattern.IMG_6431

My husband and I are working toward a life of simplicity. We have six children and twelve grand-kids. This August we will be expecting our first Great-grandchild. My husband works full time and as of now, I am a stay at home wife. Our big house is up for sale. We currently live in a travel trailer near my husband's work. We recently purchased land and are anxiously looking forward to moving, but there are a few hangups.
